My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

How is the durability of this dark flooring? I have a dog and wear heels. I worry about scratches and heel dents. It's so lovely though that it might be worth it.

    not sure about scratches..I do know that it shows every sweaty foot print.That drives me crazy . I love the color but wish I would have gone with a lighter flooring.

      Thank you for the information. I am having such a difficult time making up my mind about the dark flooring. It is my absolute favorite but I'm afraid that with dogs it is just not going to be practical.

      I agree dark is GORGEOUS but a nightmare to keep clean. The darker the flooring the more that shows..Dust and hair and scratches.Not to mention the water marks and foot prints. I am OCD so I see more than most. Hope this helps.
