How to decorate a long narrow room

This room is 70' long and 20' wide. Buying all new furniture except DR table and chairs. Need ideas for seating configurations. Comfy chair must be positioned in from of the TV for the man of the house! Any suggestions on seating arrangements and colors? Drapes are staying are crewel and will also be staying. Thanks!!
