Here are some more photos. I just had the backsplash put in less than a year ago, and I have always felt like it wasn't what I had hoped for. It made the kitchen darker, and murky looking. I also think it is kind of busy, even though it is a beautiful tile. Wouldn't it be difficult to tear out?
it is crackled glass. When I think about painting the cabinets white, I almost feel it would be easier to tear out the back splash, but I don't really know. It seems like I keep coming back to doing things to brighten up the kitchen. I even added a sun tunnel, but it is still to dark and dirty looking.
