Stainless steel, but if I must select one of the two colors, I'd go for the brown. Don't they offer black?

BEAUTIFUL granite! I have the biscotti silgranit cascade sink and it's a very nice color! I've seen a small sample of the cafe brown and it was very nice too. I think either would be a great choice. Are your floors wood or tile? What color cabinet hardware, lighting and appliances? You'll love the sink, it's amazing. I've had it for a year of hard use. I give it a good cleaning with barkeepers friend about once every three weeks and it never looks dirty. Use a brush to clean it since it's a bit rough and tears up sponges if used for cleaning. As I ponder your pics, I'd choose the biscotti. I like the contrast with your amazing granite.

Hi there, your countertop is beautiful, with lots of lovey movement. We are sorry, but we agree with the stainless steel idea, we think it would give you abit of shine. However, you know what you like best so we like the brown the best, it's blends really well with the countertop. Just another opinion, we are sure it will be great when your done. Good luck

I like the stainless as well but keep in mind fixture finishes if you haven't chosen them already. In choosing the options you posted, I prefer the biscotti.

Thank you all for your opinions and Ann thank you for the pictures of your beautiful granite and biscotti sink. Our cabinets are a chestnut brown hickory, and a little lighter brown hickory wood floors. Our faucets are stainless with oil rubbed bronze door handles. We also have stainless oven and cooktop trim. I was talked out of stainless sinks. Had cast iron before. Therefore, decided on silgranit.

On what basis were you talked out of stainless steel?

I was told that stainless was hard to keep clean and spotted. I had no experience with stainless so I took their advice.

I don't find that to be the case at all. Very easy care and still looks the same as the day it was installed.

If you might be selling your home within a few years, stainless steel is the sink most desired by prospective buyers.

I hope I am not making a mistake on the silgranit. It has been ordered and received by the frabricators. I have to agree, I did think the stainless would look better. I will post pictures when completed.

I hear that those colored sinks are awful to clean. They stain very easily. I would stick to stainless.

I think between the two you made the best choice. Dark sinks tend to show every spec and water stain. Your granite is gorgeous. I am sure it will look lovely and I will keep an eye out for your pictures.

Stainless isn't hard to keep clean, hence the name. Even the contrast of a white porcelain sink would be beautiful. Porcelain is less forgiving than stainless when it comes to glassware and breakables.

Either will work nicely with the countertop. The brown looks more masculine and will probably blend in with the countertop creating a continuous look, while the biscotti creates a nice contrast. I guess you need to also consider the kitchen cabinets, backsplash and floor finish to make the right decision. Stainless will look much better, no doubt, but depending on the use and how much maintenance you are willing to do, then you may feel more comfortable with silgranit.

I think you'll love it. I've found the best way to clean it is with bar keepers friend and a brush:) I only need to give it a good cleaning about once every 3 weeks.

It turned out great! We have the biscotti siligranit as well. I haven't had to scrub it yet - and it has been in for 6 weeks. It is the easiest maintenance sink I have ever had! You made a great choice!
