We're just starting the process to build a new house and I'm stuck on ideas for what colours to go for the kitchen. I don't want the super dark blackish-brown look and white is out because my husband hates it. But, I'm not a fan of brown, at all. I really like grey and plan on having grey furniture, etc. in our living room. It's an open plan main floor so the kitchen has to work with this.

The railing, baseboards, trim and doors will all be white, and I would like to go grey for the carpet (stairs, bedrooms, bonus room) and and some kind of grey tiles for the foyer, bathrooms, and laundry room. We're going with engineered wood floors, and I have no idea what to go with for that either.

Does anyone have any suggestions for cabinet, granite and backsplash colours that I can easily coordinate with grey?
