Since your table is very traditionally craftsman, I would choose the first light that is more square. Or for even a more traditional craftsman look, consider a stained glass light fixture. You will want to make sure that the pendant you choose will be big enough for the table.

I love the table by the way, very beautiful. Let me know if you want some more lighting ideas.

if i had to pick... round would be the one. the Murray Fiess fixture is so busy.

I forgot to mention, I am not that big of a fan of stained glass. I know the table is a craftsman style table but didn't necessarily want to go too "craftsmany" if you know what i mean.

It seems like you could find something in between the two you first loved and the super craftsman'y stained glass...

If I had to pick, I'd go with #1 from Murray Feiss. The Quoizel peice, #2, seems a bit small, the diameter is only 22". and does not hold a lot of visual space. I like the Kichler peice that Clare suggested. A few other options to consider:

Creative lighting - I like the other quoizel option you suggested. It says "island light". Does that mean it is really meant for a kitchen island? Would it look ok over a dining room table?

We use these all the time over tables. Just ignore the factory titles! The elongated design does a nice job of spreading the light and accentuated the line of the table. Just check your table length against the length of the fixture. Also,... What size is your room? What's the Ceilng Height? They both play into the appropriate size fixture for your space.

What is the room size? Visually the Feiss holds more space, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for the style of the table. Based on table size, I assume your room is big enought to go larger. Typcally I'd do about a 24" fixture in a 12x12 room. That said, ceiling height, visual weight of the fixture, and design of the fixture all play into that decision.

I ended up ordering both. Here is the Feiss. Does it look too small? Ignore everything else around it including the picture on the wall. I know it's hard to tell with it sitting on top of the table instead of installed.

What size exactly is your room? This seems to be the right size estimating from your images. A Great option would be to cut a peice of newpaper in a 25" circle to get the visual on size.

I have that same exact set (love it, except for the hernia moving it). I chose a very basic light fixture--however; my problem has been finding a wall hanging.

I like the Quoizel MCLG337RC - T suggested above, though it's a bit over your price range. The round lights and candle shapes don't really go with your table. The feiss looks too small.
