My favorite is paisleys hands down.

Diamonds for sure! I love vintage wallpaper and diamond patterns give me that internal click every time. This is the wallpaper I put in the hall of my first house which was built in 1865. It's a pattern (diamond of course!) from the 1800s, sadly discontinued at least in this colorway (which is lighter than shown by my photo).

I'm drawn to dots or diamonds. Have never liked stripes that much.

I like pattern in moderation. The pattern's scale is more important to me than it's style. I like different styles in different places. I like the right scale--first and foremost--everywhere.

Find myself saying, "oh like that dress, throw, cushion, curtain material, wall paper" and everytime, I've done it again: it's paisley which always catches my eye! Plus love that colour is back in vogue again: reds, yellows, lime green all set against shades of grey.

paisley!! I found an old photo of me from the seventies and i was sitting on a paisley bed spread. It must have been ingrained from that point. The fabric of these curtains have been reborn in four different houses over the years.

Toile, especially in soft colors, or off white on white.

Depends on the use and the decor. Color and scale also very important. That said I like plaids, paisleys,botanicals and toiles.

Another fav is the quatrefoil clover pattern. But like the other writers posted, it's all about the colour and modern feel of it for me.

Barnhart!!! No wonder that boy loves you so much! Look how much HE IS LOVED!!! He couldn't be happier or luckier. He's really something, that Hambone sure is photogenic. Of course, it helps to be that handsome.

Plaid.

It's hard for me not to take a double take when I see a damask. Whether it be in a modern, traditional or bohemian setting, it always seems so self-satisfied.

I love paisley. I've been looking for a place to use paisley wallpaper - my granddaughter won't let me use it in her room. I can see I still have work to do on that girl :-)!

suzanni and ikats, just so lovely with all the vibrancy they bring to any room.

Toile is my very favorite, but I also really like paisley! Since I change my rooms' soft furnishings around by the season, I can indulge my love of both!

Paisley. And most definitely COLOR!!! Why live in a boring monotone, whether it's beige, tan, white, black and grey. Live a little! Splash some color!
