I would love to see a gray in there!

Andrea, the bedding is very nice. I agree a banded (stripe) panel could be nice for this room. I think it's quite bold to do a wide horizontal band (as in the first picture). A nice subtle look would be to have neutral panels made with blue banding on only the leading edge in either a solid or a complimentary print. Good luck.

Thank you for the comments and great advice ideas! The bedding does look a little purple, it's actually blue with navy blue design. I love the idea of grey, my only hang up is that in the left corner there is actually a grey chair and I worried grey curtains would be too much.

This chair is actually a bit lighter than this picture shows.

I still like gray. Not a pattern though since there is already lots going on with the bedding. Try a gray darker than the chair. Also, not sure if you just took it off for this picture but I would add a pillow to the chair.

Maybe one of the fancy powerpoint people could put some curtains in there for you if you had a better picture of the windows. I am not that fancy.

Another thought. Did you recently buy the bedding? If so, the company might have some accents in the same colorways as the bedding. For example PB would have some nice curtains and accessories to match their bedding sets.

I would go with a navy or blue similar to the bedding- solid.
