I have a ton of books and love the idea of having a lot of them on display in our main living area. However, as we make plans for a new house, I'm wondering if there are some different ways of doing bookshelves for more accessibility for me. I am only about 5 feet tall, and also have a handicap that limits climbing, etc. We would prefer to plan for the future and keep things on one level. So I'm trying to think of ways to keep books accessible at a more mid-level range of height. Too high or too low would both be problems, especially if in future I need a wheelchair. I'd love any suggestions I can get!
