Help with Colour scheme - 1700s house

My husband and I have just bought a gorgeous old rectory in Wales. It was built in 1751 of stone and oak..The building has been converted from a home to a restaurant and now being converted back into a family home.. when we took down the commercial ventilation system we found a treasure of a wall!!

We need to white wash the stone wall in the kitchen and rebuild it alongside a large utility room covered in stainless steel..the restaurant has covered the wonderful character of this old welsh home..so im looking for inspiration to give this old building a makeover and bring it back to life!!

all the batons have been removed and the pipework has been moved to above the alcove, we are now ready to install a black range and an olive green country kitchen with black corian worktops

beautiful! I really look forward to seeing what you do with that wall.
Are you planning on keeping the flooring? Whatever flooring you choose to put in the space will greatly influence the colors suggested.
