Wow I can not believe no one else has responded. Sorry I left my office for most of the day....but here is a general floor plan for you. You have such a beautiful space it just needs to be tweaked and enhanced. In conjunction with the floor plan, here are my suggestions. Move sofa and chairs as shown. You could do the sofa back facing the entry also, but looks like it may seem like it is blocking the entry....so put the chairs there. Get a larger rug. One that sits at least partially under the furniture. Rectangular coffee table. I like some of the glass/metal ones others have suggested. Like the Bernhardt one. Add round end table between 2 chairs. NOT glass if you do glass coffee table. You can add a long sofa table behind the sofa if you have enough room (looks like you do). You can accessorize that to draw interest toward the back of the room when you enter the home. Add art above the fireplace - it is screaming for something! You can add a vertical mirror on the small wall flanking the built-ins. Will reflect the pretty view from back. You need a much larger piece under the tv. Tv console or long credenza type piece. You should be able to keep that super fun zebra chair where it is....add a fun table next to it. When you finish accessorizing the built ins don't get too fussy. Keep it simple like you have now (there are just empty spots to fill in). I would take out the foliage with the candles but the other things can stay. Add in other interesting things boxes, sculpture, bowl, etc - mix it up a little. Not a bunch of tiny things! not too many photo frames but some are ok. Hope this helps. Good luck!!!
