That's an amazing transformation, really nice! The pastel colours work so well and really make the space look brighter.

I agree with Catherine. Love the overall look, colors etc, but needs a huge family (rough wooden?) table in the centre and the wire chairs and umbrellas should be placed near to the banquettes. Outside lights would complete the picture. Overall an excellent facelift though.

It feels like a public space more than a private one. I love the elements used, but feel that they are too far apart perhaps. As if there is a separate area for each family member.

Love the stone the colours are great. BUT........why all the tables and the little tiny fireplace stuck in the middle with nothing around it. I don't think that the floor plan was well thought out. I think it needs to be redone. To open to bare and not well thought.

Someone tell this person the "rule" that coaches are not supposed to be put on the walls of the living room. Make seating areas conversational. ps and the little tiny planter in the middle will be very pretty when it Grows Up!

I would set this up into two zones. I would extend both the L shaped sectionals into a C shaped sectional and add small firepits in the middle. This would be a great area for lots of people to congregate (or for a few to lie around and snooze)I would then dig a small pond in front of the fountain so there is an extension of water..The front area would be for eating and sitting in a more formal environment.Add lots more planters and vertical greenery to break up the enclosed feeling - which, although nice, is somewhat, .... enclosing....

Hi Aubusson - why not post a new picture without a wide angle lens? Probably that was what was misleading.

It's nice, but I think it could be better. It's a big space and could use some oversized planters or something dramatic.

I'm having the house photographed next week. Maybe I'll post then.

Fabulous patio, but I agree with everyone else, there is nothing inviting about it. It doesn't make me want to spend any time there. Furniture looks uncomfortable and there is no conversation area. Fire pits are meant to be the center of the seating area so people can gather around and enjoy. Does look like a park space!
