A firebowl or tabletop fire pit would be a great focal point to create visual interest!

Nice bright color. I agree paint the floor, and add plant containers

See if you can find some Casablanca fan blades!! Put colored bulbs in the fan fixture. White will attract moths & the like.

Something like these below... The outdoor fan is a great idea, but right now, that one looks a little too "indoors-y"

Thanks all. Here's a wider view of the patio. I have a nice water feature. Unfortunately a fire pit won't work in the area due to proximity to the house. (I do have one though). THe concrete is already gray, and is not in great shape, but I did get another outdoor rug to cover it up for now. I like the idea of a new fan, and have been looking.

I would paint and primer the plywood also. Grey would look clean and subtle with a hint of blue hue.

triciabc, what plywood are you speaking of? I have none on the patio.

I can also see some hanging plants! Maybe some colorful annuals? Ferns??

Added a patio plant. It is called Musical Notes. Apparently the flowers will look like notes.
