I purchased this sink and had it installed. I understood travertine is a natural stone with many imperfections... color variations, holes, etc. All of that made the stone beautiful to me. The sink was shipped with many of the larger holes filled but already cracking. One fill in particular, looks like part of it is still wet. It's darker than the surrounding cream-colored fill. I'm not sure what to do and the store where I bought it is no help. My contractor says the "fill" should be dug out (is this possible) and refilled. Does anyone have any advice? What is the best way to remove the filled area? Is this my only solution?
