    Hi Farinelli Construction.... I've been inspired by this kitchen for a few years now and am finally about to start our construction. We love your pantry and I see the dimensions are 6'x7'... do you think I would be crazy to have one built that is only 4' 4' in width... but it is 14' long? Not including door area. That has an extra 2ft. Just doing a gut check here...

    I think that is too narrow. The standard depth of upper shelves is 12", if you put them on both sides that is 24" which only leaves 2'4" which isn't much room for walking. You could only shelve one side which will give you more space. This configuration will lose a minimum of 30" due to the door depth. Someone who is disabled or elderly will have issues maneuvering in such a small area. What is planned to be stored in this area is vital.
