Since the wall is broken up by windows, perhaps a pale yellow to almost match the wall color? Love your colorful, fun rug...perfect for a family room., as is the large coffee table.

I luv green so I like the green pillows. If they match the green in the carpet then I think they're fine. If you're a person that likes to switch out your accent colors, it may be better to go with panels that match the wall color or a beige? Like the background in the carpet.

Your living room is beautiful. I have a couple of curtain recommendations from Hayneedle.com that I believe will bring together all of your colors, and also match your wall panels. One is called Tuscan Stripe and the other is called a Grommet pattern. I would also recommend removing the multicolored pillows from the sofa since they don't add to the decor much. Perhaps add another solid pillow color = purple or red. ENJOY!

Room looks great! But I think you have enough colour and pattern in the space and should not overdue it with more colour/pattern in the window treatments. I would opt for a linen drapery in similar or same colour as your sofas or the neutral background colour in the rug. Or you could go for a solid accent colour taken from the rug (possibly the brown or dark burgundy) - I think a yellow, green, red curtain would overwhelm the space and be overkill. I like the green curtain ideas I'm reading about. my concern is putting them against the yellow wall. Granted, the pale yellow may be fine but green and yellow I love, but never together. If you are going to have a rug that colorful .... embrace it! Get the green drapes. And play up the colors more (but less on the patterns) for your pillows, throws or other accessories. Get a succulent bowl as they echo the natural harmonies in those colors too!
