Should i put wallpaper on the wall with the mirror ? Any ideas ?

You have a lot of empty wall space. I would put up some pictures of other artwork to give the eye something to focus on, and add visual appeal. Find some large pictures the size of the one in your living room for the wall in the hall, and above the bench in the entryway.

Have you ever thought of adding color to the walls? You could do an accent wall in the entryway in an olive green to tie in with the rug. Benjamin Moore's forest hills green #433 would look wonderful with your floor, and green is very calming. I have a lot of green in my house, and it really adds a lot of warmth to the rooms. Even my husband had to admit how great it looks, and he would have bright white wall in every room if possible.

That's exactly how i feel , that it's a lot of empty wall space. I thought about a large picture above the bench but it felt like it is too much since there already is the big one over the fireplace . Adding some color to the wall with the mirror is a good idea and i love green , i imagine it will work well with the gold accents of the mirror also. I did not mention that my walls are a shade of warm cream , but it pretty much works with any color if i decide to paint only one wall , isn't it ? I really like forest hills green , thanks Hayley

I feel that you have too many rugs. Remove the 2 in the hallway and centre the one in the entryway.

Remove the smaller rug in front of the sofa. Bring sofa forward and put front legs on big carpet. Put the two chairs across from the sofa with small table between the two - making a conversation area in front of fireplace.
Could you try turning the rug around at front door so you step on it when you come it, have it go under the console, so you are able to sit on bench with rug underfoot.

Remove the two runners down the hall.
