1980 Ranch Small Bathroom Remodel

I purchased this home as a foreclosure. The bones were good, but the decor was very dated.
As a single mom with limited funds, I had to do this on a budget, so I did all of the work myself and used some materials that I already had. The vanity is a revamped cabinet that was taking up space in my garage, the mirror is the same mirror that was there, but I cut it down to 16 x 20 and put it in an open back frame I purchased from Hobby Lobby. The shower curtain is a painters drop cloth.
The floor was the biggest expense, but wasn't too bad since the room is small. The floor is tile that looks like hardwood that I purchased at Lowes. Although it isn't shown in the photo, I have photos of outhouses that I plan to hang on the wall behind the toilet.

$3.99 hook purchased at Hobby Lobby that makes a great way to hang the hand towel.

The colors seem a bit off, but a nice update indeed.

@Dytecture- What specifically do you mean by the "colors seem a bit off"?

Very clever. Rustic, good job. Shows what you can do on a small budget.

Updated images. I still hard the art left to hang. A co-worker gave me the idea to print photos of outhouses. I'm a framer, so I had access to customizing the prints. I dry-mounted them using a method that puts an overlay on the print that makes it look like a canvas, and then mounted them in various frames with no glass and created a wall collage of outhouses. I found the hook at Hobby Lobby for $3.99. It was part of their outdoor garden collection, so I doubt it's purpose was for a towel hook, but it works and looks great! Not to mention very inexpensive. I also purchased all of the frames from there at 50% off!
