As it is a vertical wall with gravity pulling on the boards as opposed to a horizontal position i would suggest doing glue and secret nail. You don't want to go to all the effort to do this effect and in time it pulls away from the wall!

Ty. By using a laminate flooring which I'm assuming is a tongue and groove system, where do you actually nail the laminate wall panel...at the tongue?

Ps I'm in California, where can I find this laminate product used?

That is right, the nail goes through the tongue on an angle ensuring the groove of the next board can go over it. I am not sure where you get it in the US but i have no doubt if you Google or contact some local suppliers you should find a great range locally!

You don't need a special type of glue. We use Max Bond or whatever is your local standard construction adhesive.

is the wood on the wall the same as the wood on the wall?

I assume you mean the same wood on the floor and not it isn't. We used a feature material that worked with the floor but set the space as a feature. I hope that helps!
