Looks like you want our trade secrets! The columns are a bit over 7' tall. The base is nearly half that height and a little over 2' wide.

There are some other visual aspects that set the stage / make the appearance of these columns. The column base extends below the porch floor to grade and the column caps have large angled brackets, all of these elements influence the perception and feel of the proportions.

We had a similar question from both marthabollier and staceylight:

We sampled what seemed like dozens of colors for this house. We're not exactly sure what we ended with, having said that - the column plinth color is similar to the siding color, albeit a little paler. We did a little checking and the siding color in the image is similar to the following Sherwin Williams colors: Wild Sage, Sea Moss or Landscape.
