That is an incredible room to work with! Those windows are absolutely drool worthy! LOTS of natural light to work with. Depending on whether you want curtains to frame or to block out light, The choice is between sheer and solid curtains (however i would go with sheer personally).

Also, the feel of the room is important. Do you want a clean, cool feeling, or a warm, welcoming feeling?

Thank you. I want a warm welcoming feeling. I do want to block light SOMETIMES, but not always. Usually we leave the curtains open and close them only if the sun is too bright to eat in there. We do eat breakfast and dinner in there as a family so sometimes I want privacy too.
