Did you hear back from anyone? We are thinking of using them, too but want to know of other's experience who have them.

I installed 1/2 inch natural hickory engineered floors upstairs and they are beautiful. Hickory is a very hard wood. I installed 1/2 inch natural birch engineered floors downstairs and while also beautiful, it dents easily. The finish is the most important thing to consider. I chose smooth piano finish gloss. My neighbor chose handscaped. She regrets choosing that finish saying it is more difficult to clean and keep shiny. She wishes she had chosen smooth. But you will hear others who love the handscraped style. I have had mine 3 years and I still get compliments on them. I have two dogs and two cats and no signs of wear. Best advice is to order samples ...I was so surprised at the different quality. Mine has a titanium finish with a 20 year warranty. I have another neighbor who installed Bruces 3/8 inch and is already removing it after two years. Remember harder wood is worth the price.

Thank you so much for this information. It is SO helpful. We are building a new house (in Australia) and trying to decide on Travertine or wood. You have given me helpful feedback so that I can make an informed decision. We had our kitchen floor of solid Grey Ironbark which is a very hard wood. Yet had a lot of scratches and black marks hard to get off. I wondered if the engineered was different. so thanks again.
