what kind of boxwood are these

Could you please tell me the name of the boxwood and if there is a more suitable hedge for a fence hedge about 2.5 feet.

    This is a broadleaf evergreen Green Velvet Boxwood (Buxus 'Green Velvet') which grows to a maximum 30" however very slowly.

    Do you know if it is similar to buxus supervirens suffruticosa (dwarf English boxwood)? which one is best used for a hedge, in comparison to color, size, weather conditions, trimming. Really like the color of this landscape shrub.

    Yes, it is very similar in appearance but even slower growing and compact therefore creating even a shorter hedge for parterre gardens.
