My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Beautiful porch!
Can you tell me the depth of the porch and what brand ceiling heater you installed? Thanks!

    Thank you! The front porch is between 9 and 10' deep and the heaters are a brand called Fostoria. Hope that helps! -Christian

      Have you been happy with the heaters? I've looked them up and was a bit suprised at the low price. Just curious how long they've lasted and how reliable they have been. We are building very close to the water in Corona Del Mar and i'm concerned about the stainless tarnishing over time.

      Yes-- I've used them several times. They don't put out as much heat as the gas heaters-- but the recessed installation is a much cleaner look. As long as the ceiling height is not too great, they work really well. -Christian

      Electric heaters are your best choice for windy locations. Infra-red heaters, depending on the brand, differ in heating efficiency.

      Electric heaters will "out heat" and "out perform" gas heaters in all ways. The key is having a proper understanding of which product to use under the circumstance.
