We are moving our laundry from the main floor to our third-floor master bath (a bath we did not design...huge space with oddly placed elements). To make this happen, we'll eliminate one vanity (they are opposite each other right now), replace the remaining vanity space with a double vanity (approx. 91" wide), and put the front-load washer/dryer in the opposite space (also approx. 91" wide) under a countertop matching the one in the new vanity space (yet to be chosen). I want the laundry space to be stylish (i.e., not looking blatantly "laundry") but functional. I would love some suggestions as to how I might accomplish this, including cabinetry elements. A few details: I don't need an ironing board, laundry sink, or multiple sorting baskets (laundry basket is in walk-in closet nearby); I need only a small hanging space for drying items; I want to hide the laundry products; and I need to include a space for some type of cart or basket for folding (can be hidden or slide under counter but look nice).
