Congratulations on your new house. New window treatment, undercabinet lighting, and bright accessories such as red coffeemaker or white canisters. Also check the recessed lights to make sure they are the maximum wattage for the fixtures (it'll be on the label).

I like the counter tops and the tiles. You may want to paint and get rid of the white walls as that may warm it up.

have you thought about adding color through vases on the tops of the cabinets?

You could paint the top cabinets a nice light creamy colour for a completely new look , put a nice colourful roman blind and toning accessories .

Change the black appliances for ss and paint walls a warm color.

I agree with most but add a warm colour (even a red) to the walls, maybe change the stools either cushion colour or deepen the colour stain closer to the flooring Add baskets or plants on top of cabinets. Pull the warm tonnes from the flooring colour. I wouldn't replace the appliances yet as you might find it will work once the walls are painted.

If you are referring to the kitchen I would have used a stainless steel refrigerator. The refrigerator appears black here.
