that is so pretty and yes, I agree the brick is heavy but so gorgeous. a white or light colored (think sea foam green) glass might do the trick. If I find a pic - I'll post.

What a nice structural item. Since the brick is busy and so is the alaska white granit I would try to not add another material, pattern or color to the space. Have you thought of using alaska white granit slab just like your counter here? Or you could go simpler and chose a quartz slab in white, which is present in your granit and cabinets. Hope this helps.
