We like this style of roof, but wouldn't do it in black, and should be lower. The bigger roof line, if facing south would offer great space for solar

Love this simple covered area, but would have countertop space for prep and serving area, as well as grill space, along the edges.

Not this style (too rustic), but love that there is grilling and prep and bar space as well as seating here. If we had enough room for something like this without weirdly blocking the view from that side of the house, that would be wonderful.

THIS! Not the pool area, but that back structure. We'd put a roof instead of a trellis on the end nearest the house, and house the grill and countertop area under that spot, but love connecting that and the pool equipment and hopefully a shower, too!
