Another interesting, not like everyone else, look.
Shape rather evokes the handles on the refrigerators. Just a little different. More classy, it seems to me. One option for kitchen and pantry.
An interesting shape. If we got a handle in bronze, we'd want to have the exterior light in bronze as well.
Fairly unobtrusive. ???
The 30" x 72" stone slabs are from Ann Sacks. They call it Athens Silver Cream. I rather like this.
Floor color
Quite modern, but also fairly unobtrusive. Note arrangement of TV
Just saving the look of the surround material. (And the animals on the ledge. Heh heh.)
The surround is Marmorino, a plaster product. Interesting look. Probably expensive, but maybe not . . . https://decorapainttools.com/collections/15-30/products/san-marco-marmorino-classico-professional-mineral-lime-wall-coating-for-indoor-and-outdoor-use
Large format porcelain tile on surround. Not the worst one I've seen.
Same as before, but LOOK! Chinese horses on a mantle ledge. :-)
Surround is venetian plaster. It's scraped or raked to get the effect. Don't know what the ledge is made of. Just collecting ideas . . .
Hmmm. Wall tile and curvy stuff behind the tub. Wall tile might work in a bath. Note also the countertop and integrated sink.
One more county heard from -- interesting stone. Maybe there's something that isn't builder-standard that would serve the support objective but not jump down our throats.
Bedside sconces are from www.satorilightsculptures.com (as of 2012)
Fireplace surround is porcelain tile. One approach.
Note the shelf below fireplace, treatment with tv and interesting downlighting. Not bad at all.
This one is a wave plaster wall, but it has the same spirit as the M.R. Walls we've seen in Corian material. FYI
Consider relative placement of fireplace, cabinetry on right side (we'd have TV over that), and space left of fireplace. Can't tell what the measurements are, but it has pleasant shape.
Placeholder for color of floor. I am very drawn to it. Also consider a version of the treatment of fireplace with tall surround, not with this specific treatment.
Much like the one just before, but with a slightly different paint color. Note the white countertop and floor about the color we had in mind.
Another approach. Could still have slate appliances. Consider especially cabinet color. Suggests something different for walls, but it's in the spirit of Coastal Fog. Backsplash is pleasant, if conventional. There still wouldn't be a lot of it.
Bathroom windows - just a thought.
Interesting -- here's the no-pull pull you were describing, which could be very useful for food-related storage (assuming it doesn't really offer bugs and critters more access) and signage!!!!
See others on page too.
See lighting over the island. Now there's a good idea. Classy, unobtrusive.
Nice storage approach. Our end cabinet at entry to pantry from garage?
I could live with these green tiles in my shower, although it's not currently my favorite option. Interestingly, the top of the window here was sand-blasted for privacy. It's another interesting thought.
Hoorah for all the drawers, but I think the handles would be a hazard. Just for the record.
I keep liking the shape, but maybe not this one.
I'm wondering, too, if that's a Bose sound bar below the TV.
Sort of what you were thinking?
Fireplace, big TV, shelving, drywall. Note that we have options with the Sudlows -- separate them, group them in the eating area, stack them somewhere wonderful.
Just for discussion.
What do you think of this one? See combination of large tiles in shower, vessel sink, darker countertop.
Is this what you were describing to me a couple of weeks ago?
Let the firebox speak. Don't know how they manage not having tile or stone around the firebox, however.
