Could just do a porcelain tile main floor ... very affordable and has hints of brown and gray to work with subway tile and vanity. Large size makes the room look bigger...surprisingly.

Like the pony wall that encloses part of the shower by the door. Great for adding storage inside shower and making stall a bit more private.

Could you do some type of bull nose to trim out top half of carrera and then add something like this on bottom half?
