This is one idea for the broom cabinet on the east face of the utility closet. I just walked through the measurements with Lorenzo and we do have room for a 28 inch utility cabinet - so if 4" works for the broom area then we could have a 24 inch closet in the kitchen (without a vertical divider) and a 4 inch broom closet on the east wall of the cabinet.
