Might consider these vinyl windows to block the Northwest wind on the deck area.

I like the solid look deck wall combined with a portion of metal railing. This is a great idea for the West side of the house somewhere along the deck.

Don't need a big stone fireplace but the porch is cool.

Like the simple clean look here but the bottom panels would need to be filled in. This area is an outdoor enviroment, I don't mind if it has more of a rough exterior feel to it.
