Lighting - Track lights

I can see this kind of a cluster of lights for our conversation area. Different heights, but I'd probably choose pendants that were more similar in style than these are.

Very simple white paper-look cylinders would not clash with any other feature light shades. How would these work over the island?

Pendants on track have smoked glass over white cylinder. Light shining down is white; later light is damped by the smoked glass shade. This effect might work for us in several locations (island, conversation area, dining space).

Mixed styles of lights on tracks include pendants of white paper globes. I like those.

Tracks are suspended level below a sloped ceiling. Ours run perpendicular to the slope, so not need leveling, though we might still want to suspend them.
