this is a large dense hedge with a window cut into it. I don't know if it's a random wall the sets in front of the hedge, more like a standing art wall or what. on a smaller scale with a half wall to divide an area.

The potted plants r EG Jasmine and behind the fence is European Hormbeam. They r in the shade and loving it. Notice the square as opposed to a flat trellis.
