Interesting height changes on this counter. It is important to me that whatever seating counter we have that the chair seat will go completely under the counter and that when seated there is plenty of room for 'knees', I hate to sit sideways because my knees don't fit.

This came in a magazine, looked it up online. I like the idea of this for the sofa with its' back to the tv nook. A good way to use table lamps for nice ambient lighting.

Your counter is raised, why did you choose this over all the same height? I really like your granite too.
