Love this fire pit that has a place to put food and drink as well as a safety guard around the flame

Love the way the bocce ball connects to fire pit area through stone framing

Fireplace idea instead of fire pit

Love the way the fire pit and seating is built on same level of bocce court so you can warm yourself in between games or watch the game

Love this fire pit area blended with the games through stone and landscaping on same level ground, not stairs throughout.

Love the lush back yard experience here with dining and fire pit area

Love this use of a pergola with plantings to create a secluded cozy area around fire pit

Love the enclosed area with planting around this fire pit. Creates a really lovely wooded sense of seclusion and that we're in nature

Nice firepit area that is really developed. Includes partial pergola

One idea if we moved the fire pit area to tie into the outdoor kitchen/dining area

Maybe overkill on the landscaping but I love how enclosed and secluded this fire pit area is. The stone and plantings help it feel like an oasis in this yard.

Dislike fire pits that look like they were just plopped down. I think I prefer them built in or at least something not in metal with thin legs like this one.

Love the landscaping around the firepit area. Really helps it feel a part of the yard design instead of stuck on the side. Also, I like the stacked stone bench they built that probably matches the firepit.

Dislike - I dont mind the stones as seats from a design perspective but practically this looks really uncomfortable an uninviting to sit at around a fire.

I like the use of landscaping here to make this fire pit area feel enclosed and a focal point in the yard.

I like the combination of a stone bench with lighting and the seating area

One idea I may be open to - built in seating around the fire pit. Might be too structured and out of budget but this one looks nice.
