For the office pocket doors should we sqaure the frame or keep it round like it right now

Should the pocket doors be solid wood or glass. I like the idea of the arched opening but one needs to remember the doors then must be custom made to fit our exact radius or we find doors first that are favorable price and build the new opening to match their radius

Glass or solid doors is always a matter of the main user of the space truly knowing themself and how they will habit the space. Will they require true visual separation to be able to concentrate on processes within the room, or would those inside the room be able to function and still like the idea of being visually connected to the goings ons of the family.

This image shows one of my favorite design elements that I love to do for clients when they are real readers and collectors. The bridge cabinet open shelving above the actual doorway make the procession into that room more pronounced as you go in and out.

The squared doors are going to be the most fiscally reasonable in both the doors purchase price and the framing and reconstruction and trimming materials efforts than if we go with the radius. So it’s a cost to value consideration for the doors shapes.
