My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Principles of Design
Photo
Emphasis. The focal point in this room would be the large mirror that looks like a sun. This is the first object you see when you walk into this room, because it is so large and it draws your eyes right to it.

Proportion. In this room you can definitely tell the proportion is off in the room. The room is very large and the table does not fit in this space very well. The room gives a very empty feeling because the proportion is off.

Random Rhythm. The random rhythm would be the floor pattern. The pattern is all over the place and it doe not look like anything in general really. The beat of the rhythm would be sporadic so a little hear and little there.

Regular Rhythm. The rhythm in this room would be the striped wall. This creates rhythm because it goes in a similar pattern. Even the wall that comes out and the rounded wall has the same pattern. The beat of the rhythm would be grey, white, grey, white, and so on.

Radial Balance
The center point would be the coffee table and the chairs around are equally spaced. The chairs are also going in a circle motion so it is a radial design.

Asymmetrical Balance.
In this photo the TV and the shelf give this room an asymmetrical balance because they are not centered in the middle of the room. The weights of each item make it feel balanced.

Symmetrical Balance. The fire place is in the middle of the room so I would use it as a imaginary dividing line. On each side there is a couch, a mirror, wood on each side, and also a little table. This looks like a mirrored image.
