Your island is 3x6. It will accept no more than TWO pendants at a ten inch diameter. You don't want more overall height than 24 or 26 inches and that includes the mounting at top of fixture. Or.... You can do three narrow pendants at around 7" width. Or you can do a Linear style fixture 36 inches in length and same overall height. You must pay attention to specs, especially on a light with a fixed rod vs chain. You have plenty of options. A floor plan is helpful if only for sink and hood locations which may also drive your selection.
