Another example of the tapering of the fireplace as it goes upward to the ceiling. I like how it stops shy of the ceiling. I also love the whitewashed chunky mantle. This is a more authentic German Schmear but the brick showing through would need to have the same warm tones of the faux brick on the nearby feature wall which would be so cool!
I like this fireplace in wood painted the same color as our room - SW Zurich White. I like the molding at the top and all the woodwork. Just want enough of a mantle to put something on it. Will hang a TV above the fireplace but hidden behind the woodwork as shown in the third photo. HOWEVER, have you seen that effect where the TV always has an image of a painting on it when not in use? I want to know how that’s done. ALSO, seating bench to left & right lift lid storage for blankets. We need seating more than we need built-ins for display. Would want cushions on top of the bench seating.
A closer look at the detail of this fireplace. I would like a more rustic, chunky white brick or brick that has some color showing through that pulls a tone from the faux brick we have on the adjacent wall near the half bath. We will see that wall and the fireplace brick at the same time from the entry way from the kitchen.
I like the look of this fireplace - the two tone of the bronze and pewter.
I like the curved shape of this fireplace. Of course I’d have to see this compared to the others in a design rendering to make up my mind for certain.
I love the tapered top and the chunky white brick. I also love how the rustic mantle is supported with the brick.
