Our Long Island studio designed this stunning home with bright neutrals and classic pops to create a warm, welcoming home with modern amenities. In the kitchen, we chose a blue and white theme and added leather high chairs to give it a classy appeal. Sleek pendants add a hint of elegance. In the dining room, comfortable chairs with chequered upholstery create a statement. We added a touch of drama by painting the ceiling a deep aubergine. AJI also added a sitting space with a comfortable couch and chairs to bridge the kitchen and the main living space. The family room was designed to create maximum space for get-togethers with a comfy sectional and stylish swivel chairs. The unique wall decor creates interesting pops of color. In the master suite upstairs, we added walk-in closets and a twelve-foot-long window seat. The exquisite en-suite bathroom features a stunning freestanding tub for relaxing after a long day.

This primary bedroom got a huge influx of color and style. We designed and installed this board and batten accent wall, installed curtains, the ledge shelf, wall mounted lamps, replaced the hardware on the furniture, added the marigold coverlet to the bedding, removed the french doors to the en suite and installed a matte black barn door.

Inspiration for a mid-sized transitional bedroom remodel in New York

This homeowner is a stylish woman with an artistic way of combining styles in her Middleton Hills, Middleton WI home. Her project began when she stenciled this wall. She opted for an upholstered bed then hung pendants over her nightstands and a semi-flush mount in the ceiling. Next? A love seat, a chair to replace this one, nightstands, and a buffet to use as storage. The search is on! In September of 2015, Boston magazine opened its eleventh Design Home project at Turner Hill, a residential, luxury golf community in Ipswich, MA. The featured unit is a three story residence with an eclectic, sophisticated style. Situated just miles from the ocean, this idyllic residence has top of the line appliances, exquisite millwork, and lush furnishings.
