Wondering if this is wood or composite for the pergola, but I really think the white on white house with the dark stone patio works well. Wondering what it would look if the house were grey, or dark, and if a lighter colored stone patio would then work better. This looks very classy though. (and should be for Menlo Park)

Mmmm, football outside. How do you deal with the Sun though? As as the sun moves accords the sky, dealing with afternoon, vs night games.
Don't like the style, but a single wall with a sideboard gives you an easy outdoor dining type feel. Too busy though in this execution.
