Leak mitigation in build - It's relatively easy to install a water alarm shut off plus a pan that will protect against any kind of leak by automatically shutting off the water supply as well as containing any water in the pan. I am having this done for my dishwasher, refrigerator, HVAC unit (which is in my ceiling with a central water line) as well as my washer/dryer units.
A tile that’s dressing the floor will be literally less “in your face” than a tile that’s up at eye level on a wall, so you can bring a little more contrast to your grout. This floor tile is paired with a light grout, but the pattern still feels fairly subtle down on the floor. In general, the floor is a good place to bring some rich contrast to anchor the space.
