Stone patio floor, short wall

Low horizontal wall with planter at end. We know we didn't want exactly this house, but it was kind of the starting point for us.

Roof line

Roofline, entrance detail. Is it possible to do it in lighter colors, grays and white.

More modern looking front door. Not sure?? Maybe too much glass?? Like sconces. Stone looks nice.
Q

Back exterior of same home. Like it!
Q
Photo
Not sure if I would like the lower patio. Would it be dark?
Q
Photo
Don’t like garage in front. Maybe painted brick instead?

Interesting, farmhouse design in Charlotte. Sort of liked screened porch. Like minimal use of wood accents.

I love everything about the exterior of this home. Probably not right for us

Like the deck area on main level and smaller deck above. I like that there is very minimal covered patio on the ground level (on the right side of home). I feel like the covered patio on bottom level and the inside on bottom level is often dark because of a covered patio above.

see previous notes, probably a little too modern.

Like windows. Like that roof is not flat like on many modern homes, but shallow. Like wide eaves.

Jim likes - few steps up to main level in order to fit lower level on right - use of slope
Q

Exterior materials - Like shingles and stone trim, colors and columns. Don’t like garage in front.
Q
Photo
exterior materials - Use brick instead of stone, use fibre board instead of stucco, minimal wood accents.

Linda likes the idea of 2 materials for exterior. Linda likes the look of painted shingles but doesn't love this brick.
Q
Photo
I like the combination of wood accents, fiber cement board (if that is what it is) and instead of stucco - possibly painted brick
Q
Photo
rear exterior of same home, same comments. maybe a bit too much wood trim?
Q
Photo
Jim likes this door. And possibly something like this sconce. Linda doesn't like this door.
Q
Photo
Front door - jim likes detail on glass, linda not sure.
Q
Photo
Jim likes this front door, especially glass detail. Linda is ok with it.
Q

Same door, Close up. Front door more glass

picture of home in our neighborhood. we like the color of brick, not the farmhouse style of the house itself

picture of home in our neighborhood. We like the wood trim around entrance, and sconces even though they seem undersized for the house.
