Do you like the bigger cut squares in the concrete?

What if we have the grill closer to the house like this and the sidewalk going to the left of the grill?

What about having a bigger landing, not this big, but have plenty of room for doors to open and platform area. Then we would have two steps down to main patio.

If we do have to have a step down onto the grass, do the grading, I do like how the steps are different color than the rest of the patio, it also helps with not missing that step.
