Inspirational Image 2: Love that the neutrals are on the walls and the furnishings, then you have the pop of color on the floor. Seems to ground the room with those fantastic high ceilings. Great texture on the carpet. Good combo with the brown walls and the blue carpet, very soothing and sophisticated.

Inspirational Image 1: I love that this is a somewhat traditional/formal designed room and furniture pieces. Then you have this bold black and white "zebra" stripe amazing carpet underneath to add some punch! Brings great movement, texture and interest. I also love that the black in the carpet is picked up in the welting/piping of the chair and ottoman. Very simple yet sophisticated touch.
