I like this tile pattern on the floor as a shower floor pattern. Basically any small tiles. No river rock look.

Extending the tile to cover both bath and shower give a nice cohesive look to the wall. This is similar to our shower/bathrub layout. Also like that the shower floor blends in the bathtub marble surround.
