This is very close to what I have been imagining: color on the island, light wood finish on lower cabinets, white upper. Don't care for farmer sink...

Love the floor. But I can see that being possible with our other wood floor in the living room and hallway. Still, I love this floor. I love how it looks with the island and white cabinets.

While I like white cabinets, I want to avoid an "all-white" kitchen. Not sure how to do that....

For what it is worth, this is an ideal picnic setting for us. Water feature especially. Shutters are a blue color I notice now for the first time - saved this picture back in 2012 I think.

I like end cut wood butcher block counters - I had thought about them on the sides of the range, but not sure if they would work or not.

Another version of blue/green... I see the stone hood enclosure. Seems a bit heavy.

I like the wood cabinets in island. Not a fan of the countertop..
