Extend Kitchen Floor To Move Half Wall For Larger Island

Should I extend floor, move half walls to extend island even though I have a bay door area and wall that sticks out that splits kitchen and family room? The table would not be centered on bay window. The walkway to the backdoor if tepkscing with larger island would lead to Bay Area.
