Interesting idea to have the bar stools on the short side, rather than directly facing the kitchen. It opens up the visual flow from kitchen to great room better.

Good example of two things I don't want: no frosted glass, and no prep sink in the middle of an island. I'd prefer off to one side.

Again, I like the little recessed area on the right. It could be a bar area or more of a catch-all area and i could put my papers etc in the drawer. Would be really cool if there was a hole somewhere so I could keep my laptop in a drawer but still plugged in and charging.
